Originally from Dracut, MA, I now live in beautiful Provo, UT. I am the only daughter to a geneologist mother and photographer and painter father.

As a photojournalist I believe that capturing the emotion of the moment is key to great photography. To record the natural, unfolding story of the event is priceless.

Many who have known me for years cannot remember a time where I wasn't involved in some art form. In elementary school my 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Schultz, commented at the end of a school year that she loved getting my homework because it was always embelished with some kind of drawing. My class mates would ask me to create pencil cans with interesting drawings on them to reflect their personality. To earn extra money to go to the local swimming pool with the other children, my friends and I would create wooden picture frames. I guess I didn't understand the idea to sell lemon aid. But I always earned the money and then some.

After school hours I would be seen carrying either a pad of paper and pencils or a camera to have photoshoots of friends and indie music groups and bands around town. It wasn't until I was about 18 that I realized I wanted to make art a career.

Since 2001 I've specialized in freelance graphic design & photography doing work for nationwide corporations, newly engaged or married couples, families, and musical artists.
