The Basis of the P90X Extreme Home Fitness Program

The P90X Home fitness program is based on the idea of muscle confusion. If you are a professional weight lifter, this is a factor that you know very well contributes to building lean muscle mass. Sadly, this is a factor that most people who are looking to lose weight know nothing about. When you repeatedly do the same exercises day in day out for extended periods of time, the body tends to get used to the all-too obvious routine, and it will reach a plateau phase where it stagnates. Needless to mention, regardless of how hard you will be working at the gym, you will not be able to record any tangible results when at the plateau phase. This is the main reason behind the creation of the P90X program. It is designed in such a way that you follow a set of exercises for a period of 3 weeks, then take a week of recovery and the start all over again with a new set of workouts so you can ‘confuse’ the muscles. This has been proven to facilitate rapid fat loss and boost muscle growth.

Gain Muscle with a Proper Diet

For years and years, people have been repeatedly asking experts how to gain muscle and increase their fitness level and the answer has always varied since there are a lot of ways that a person can utilize to achieve these gains. One thing is for though, anyone who wants to gain muscle effectively must follow a muscle gain diet. A muscle gain diet mostly consists of lean meat, fiber rich meals, and fruits. To start of, a person should eat egg whites and oatmeal for breakfast followed by a mid morning meal that consists mostly fruits. For lunch a person should pack on protein by consuming lean meat like chicken or goat. In the afternoon a person should maintain the meal intervals by eating whole grain paired with lean meat again. And for dinner a person should once again eat lean meat and pair it with food that is high Casein which will aid the repair of muscles during sleep. If a person religiously follows this muscle gain diet then he or she will surely experience good results.

The Problem Area That Most Women Are Afraid to Talk About : Cellulite

When it comes to cellulite I have found that most of my female friends would rather discuss their bank accounts, sex life, spiritual beliefs than to have to discuss their problem with cellulite.

When I turned 29 I realized that I started to see signs of cellulite just like my mother had at around that age (actually just a tiny bit younger) and I noticed that it was getting gradually worse). I did what I think most people would do in that situation, I just accepted it because there was nothing I could possibly do about it.

But now, three years later I have decided that I wanted to do something about it, I was sick and tired of just doing nothing and I wanted a change. There was a limited window with what I could do though. I did not want to have any sort of plastic surgery, not because I am vehemently opposed to the idea of plastic surgery, but because I am terrified of the hospital and quite frankly do not have the disposable income to actually have plastic surgery at this time.

So I started looking around online for different ways that one can combat cellulite. I have seen some very strange suggestions online that would involve smearing all sorts of strange things onto my body and quite frankly, that just sounded disturbing.

But a few websites did give me a good idea when they mentioned the idea of exercise for cellulite. If you think about the actual concept of cellulite, it only makes sense that you could target it just like you would target flabby underarms by working out your triceps. I decided that the only thing that I could lose was some sweat and decided to give it a try.

I read more and more about cellulite exercises that are proven to work and I have to admit that most of them are very easy indeed. They are easy to do, but harder to master, and when you do them you really do feel a certain burn in the specific problem area. Just the fact that I was being active, whether it was going to work or not was something that really motivated me.

I am now three weeks into doing these exercises for cellulite. I am not going to sit here and tell you that all my problems are solved and I have amazing baby like skin, but I really can see a difference. The skin is slightly firmer and the orange peel skin is starting to tone a little bit more. I am certainly going to continue and I will report my findings at a later date. Perhaps you will join me in this exercise fight against cellulite.

What to Consume Before Your Workout

If you’re just beginning a strict workout regimen then you want to give your body the proper nutrients before you start your intense workout. There are many different supplements that you can take to give your body and the protein and other nutrients it needs to keep yourself powered up for your workout. Basically the best pre workout supplement is anything with a good amount of protein and lots of carbs which you can burn off and use as fuel for your workout. Drinking chocolate milk or eating a balanced breakfast are probably two of your best choices for pre workout nutrients. You can also buy any form of protein shake which also includes sugar to drink before your workout. Don’t worry about the sugar, if you’re trying to gain mass you will still retain it and will burn off some of the fat during your workout. It’s also important to consume a lot of water before your workout as well.

Building Muscle Mass

Building muscle mass is something that you should realise is not going to happen overnight. You should plan out your muscle mass regime to build your muscle each week but also understand there might not be any sign of growth for several weeks. Once you realise this, it helps to remain focussed and you won’t change your diet or exercise routine because you don’t think it is working.

Having the proper nutrition for bodybuilding is essential to make sure you are getting enough energy to train and also the correct nutrients to make your muscles grow. Protein is essential for this and you should eat or drink protein immediately after working out. This gets right to the muscles and starts repairing them and this makes them grow larger. A protein shake is ideal for this and you can make them in seconds before you shower or leave the gym. Many gyms also have a shake bar where you can purchase a protein shake or a protein bar.
